GRAM

Transfers

How transfers work, where to see requests, and what changes after a transfer is accepted.

What a transfer does

A transfer is the platform action used to move a GRAM from one account to another. Once accepted, the receiving account becomes the current digital owner of that GRAM.

Important: A transfer updates digital ownership in the platform. If the GRAM also has a physical piece, that physical handoff should happen in real life as well when applicable.

Where to see transfer requests

Transfer requests appear in the transfers area of the platform. If Siggy tells you that you have a pending transfer, it means there is transfer activity waiting for review, approval, or completion.

What happens after a transfer

  1. The transfer request is reviewed and accepted.
  2. The GRAM is linked to the receiving account.
  3. The new owner sees that GRAM in their collection.

If a transfer is still pending, ownership has not fully changed yet.

Good practice

Make sure the account receiving the GRAM is the account that should become the owner. If there is also a physical GRAM involved, complete the real-world handoff too.
